Session I: Where We Are Now (9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.)

·        What is the 8th Principle?

·        Who is calling for the 8th Principle?

·        Why is this important now?

Session II: What Comes Next (10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

·        Making plans for more conversations

·        Preparing for congregational votes

·        Planning for a UUA General Assembly vote

This two-part workshop will be facilitated by Meck Groot, Congregational Consultant with the Unitarian Universalist Association New England Region.

We encourage you to come for the first session to learn about the history and current status of the 8th Principle, which has been approved by many UU congregations and is under consideration by others.

We hope you will stay and join us for the second session, where we will be planning next steps for more conversations about this principle and/or preparing for a congregational vote and the UUA General Assembly vote expected in 2023.
