Dear Friends,

Join us Sunday, May 4th, for a special lay-led service titled “Food for the Soul: Imagine.” We’ll gather for connection, reflection, and inspiration as we explore the powerful message of John Lennon’s iconic song, ‘Imagine.’

This service offers a unique opportunity to reflect on our life’s journeys and share insights with one another in a welcoming and open space. Whether you’re a long-time member or a first-time visitor, you are warmly invited to participate.

What to Expect:
• A Thought-Provoking Exploration: We’ll delve into the lyrics of “Imagine” through a Unitarian Universalist lens, focusing on its call for peace, unity, and a world grounded in our shared humanity.
• Shared Meal & Fellowship: Immediately following the chalice lighting, we invite you to stay for food and fellowship – a chance to nourish both body and spirit and connect with our community.
• Joys & Concerns: We’ll create a sacred space to share our joys and concerns, lighting candles or placing objects in the Zen garden as a symbol of our shared human experience.
• Interactive Table Exercise: Engage in thoughtful conversation with others as we explore the themes of the service together.

As always, all are welcome here – whoever you are, whatever your background or beliefs. Come as you are and open yourself to the connections and reflections this service offers.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful time with you.

Warmly,
The All Souls Community”

Shared Cluster Service hosted by All Souls guest Barbara Strassman.

You are cordially invited to a transformative Sound Healing Journey. Immerse yourself in a symphony of soothing sounds and gentle vibrations, designed to soothe your mind, body, and soul.

During this immersive experience, you will be guided through a meditative journey using a variety of instruments, including:

  • Singing Bowls

These instruments will create a harmonious soundscape that will promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance your overall well-being.

We’ll have a special guest to help facilitate our journey. Barbara Strassman who was raised in a household where hands on healing, meditation, yoga and metaphysical studies were everyday occurrences. We look forward to sharing this healing experience with you.

We host a coffee hour with refreshments after Sunday service.

The Five Points Cluster congregations choose a specific Sunday once every month or so where we gather to share worship together at one of our churches. It is a wonderful way to experience different kinds of worship, get to know our neighbors and siblings in faith, and offer hospitality to one another.

This Worship Service will be held in person and via Zoom.us and is hosted by All Souls Braintree.

New ways of engaging ourselves and others in our UU community and beyond

WEAV is various intentions woven together. The threads consist of practices for the heart, body and mind to engage participants. These same threads are also introductions to various fields of knowledge and ways of knowing. The ten very distinct sessions take participants on a journey through an overview of a repair process which can be practiced in your congregation.

In addition, the sessions provide participants with differing paradigms of learning to experience new ways of engaging ourselves and others in our UU community and beyond. There are times when the sessions might seem unconnected. Yet, all of the various sessions are to provide insight into the complexity of the issue of antiracist work involving spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.

The learning emphasis is placed on the growth and transformation and concluding commitments of each participant as a UU, as we grow in community and witness each other’s growth and are witnessed for our own.

Our ten Zoom session commitment begins January 11, 2025, meeting on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, through May 24, 2025. Each session is approximately 90 minutes, from 10am-11:30am ET.

Please contact Kellie Kinsman (mkelliekinsman@gmail.com) with any questions you may have, and to register for WEAV! The Zoom link will be provided to all who register.

I look forward to this journey with you!
