‘Come with whatever seed of faith you can muster, and listen…’ -Enfleshed Liturgies

Join us for a celebration of faith and doubt through story and song. Matt Meyer will reflect on a high stakes wager, a secret doubt, and what it takes to stand up to bullies in heaven and earth.

Matt is an itinerant troubadour and worship leader who has led hundreds of services for UU congregations across the country. He has a degree in hand drumming and serves as Director of Community Life for Sanctuary Boston.

This service is live in the Sanctuary and not available on Zoom.”

June 5, 2025 – First Thursday “Get Your Body Groove On” at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Canton (1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

Get Your Body Groove On!

We’ll dance our way to deeper joy and health by viewing segments from a video exercise program known as “Body Groove.” This program is diverse in representing and honoring all body types and abilities and is diverse by race and age as well! You should always consult your physician before trying this, and we’ll have a release to sign, and exercising from chairs also is welcome. It’s lots of fun to try!

Contact Rev. Dr. Michelle Walsh at minister@fpuucanton.org for more information and to sign up in advance as desired, though walk-ins also can be accommodated! Transportation through the Town of Canton’s Senior Center also is possible in our partnership with them!

April 19, 2025 – Public Witness Vigil for Justice and Democracy at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Canton (12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.)

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, First Parish Unitarian Universalist Canton “…will host another Public Witness Vigil for Justice and Democracy on our lawn from 12pm to 1:30pm. There was a call for local actions on April 19, rather than a large rally in downtown Boston, so we will host once again.

Please bring your own peaceful sign if possible and/or signs to share with others, and bring a chair if you prefer to sit.  The last time we had 60-70 people, including families with children, over the course of the 90 minutes, and the weather should be much nicer this Saturday.”

The “Parish Committee is aware and supportive of these ongoing public witnesses, and many people on the Parish Committee are themselves participating. We may have some leftover sign making materials available in Parish Hall, to which you also may feel free to contribute.”
