June 25, 2025 – Weekly Interfaith Standout for Immigrant Rights in Sharon, Mass. (5:00 p.m.)

This is an informal interfaith gathering that began as an a hoc weekly vigil that started this spring. While Sharon Unitarian Church’s (UUSharon,org) Social Justice Committee has no formal sponsorship role, they do help to spread the word and many of its members attend the standouts. The hope is that it will continue through the summer and beyond. All are welcome. Those participating should hold focused signs and commit themselves to a non-confrontational presence. Bring your own signs—suggestions include:Welcome The Stranger, Love Your Neighbor, Proudly Pro-Immigrant, Deportation Without Due Process is Unconstitutional, No Human Being Is Illegal. Please keep your signs positive and on-message

If you do attend, please stand peacefully and don’t respond to anyone who makes negative comments, appears angry or hostile, or is confrontational. Let our signs speak for us: No chants—no talkback—no confrontations. Singing is welcome!
