October 15, 2025 – Weekly Interfaith Wednesday Vigil on the Corner for Immi grant Rights in Sharon, Mass. (5:00 p.m.)

This is an informal interfaith gathering that began as an a hoc weekly vigil that started this spring. While Sharon Unitarian Church’s (UUSharon,org) Social Justice Committee has no formal sponsorship role, they do help to spread the word and many of its members attend the standouts. The hope is that it will continue through the summer and beyond. All are welcome. Those participating should hold focused signs and commit themselves to a non-confrontational presence. Bring your own signsÑsuggestions include:Welcome The Stranger, Love Your Neighbor, Proudly Pro-Immigrant, Deportation Without Due Process is Unconstitutional, No Human Being Is Illegal. Please keep your signs positive and on-message

If you do attend, please stand peacefully and don’t respond to anyone who makes negative comments, appears angry or hostile, or is confrontational. Let our signs speak for us: No chantsÑno talkbackÑno confrontations. Singing is welcome!
